Macatawa Anesthesia, PC is an independent anesthesia practice located in Holland, Michigan. Founded in 1992, we provide exclusive anesthesia services for Holland Hospital and its affiliate institutions, including the Boven Birth Center, the Holland Hospital Endoscopy Center, and the Holland Hospital Surgery Center.
We perform about 20,000 anesthetics per year, including general, spinal, epidural, regional nerve blocks, and sedation. We currently have 10 anesthesiologists and 5 nurse anesthetists. Our practice model is a hybrid of personally performed physician provided care and the anesthesia care team model.
We have a long history of fairness within our practice and of collegiality between the anesthesiologists and the nurse anesthetists. As a locally owned and managed corporation, we are accountable to the institutions we serve, our surgeons, our patients, and ourselves, not to shareholders of a national corporation.
